Founded by Edwin Bruno and based in Tanzania, Smart Lab is an innovation lab and startup accelerator steering the growth of the continent’s next wave of innovative products and services. Smart Lab connects companies and entrepreneurs with working ideas, innovative products, and services aiming to promote African-based solutions.

Since its inception in 2018, Smart Lab has created several programs, including corporate accelerators, skill development and talent programs, hackathons, and a co-working space for entrepreneurs to work, connect and innovate collaboratively.
