Leveraging Technology Techaide is Impacting the Education Sytsem Across Africa

Education is the gateway to entrepreneurship and technological advancement. 

In many African countries, gaining access to the internet or an equipped library can be a challenge. To make education more accessible, Techaide developed a solution, ASANKA, which delivers educational content to rural and marginalized areas in Ghana.

The ASANKA system is a low-cost, low-power, durable, and customizable information device that's accessible by any Wi-Fi enabled device. By digitizing the Ghanaian educational curriculum and putting it on the ASANKA, classrooms are now a multimedia space.

Moving forward, Techaide hopes to further its impact by making quality education more accessible and affordable; and break the cycle of social exclusion and poverty in the rural parts of Africa.
